Crypto.com launches OG prediction market app on Apple App Store
Crypto.com launched OG, a mobile prediction market app, on the Apple App Store on May 23, according to an App Store listing. The app lets users trade prediction event contracts offered by Crypto.com Derivatives North America, a CFTC-registered Designated Contract Market (DCM). The listing promotes trading on user knowledge with the tagline ''start trading what you know.'' The crypto exchange is expanding into regulated prediction market products through the standalone platform, which is built around regulated event contracts and sports. Separately, Crypto.com and OG Prediction Markets signed a multi-year partnership with the U.S. SailGP Team, bringing prediction market integrations to the sailing league.
OG enters a U.S. market where CFTC registration is the key moat, pitting Crypto.com Derivatives North America directly against Kalshi and ForecastEx for trader acquisition. The Apple App Store distribution channel gives it reach that browser-based rivals lack, forcing incumbents to match mobile-native UX or cede retail growth.
Becomes the second crypto-native exchange after Robinhood to build an in-house prediction-markets app, as Crypto.com joins the platform rush that has already drawn Kalshi, Polymarket, ForecastEx, and Underdog into the regulated event-contracts space.
