FanDuel Predicts adds Crypto.com as second exchange partner for event contracts
FanDuel Predicts has added Crypto.com's OG Prediction Markets as a second exchange partner for its CFTC-regulated event contracts platform, the company announced. The partnership expands FanDuel's offering with new sports and entertainment contracts, including combination event contracts or parlays, ahead of the World Cup. Crypto.com's OG Prediction Markets is a CFTC-regulated exchange and clearinghouse. The move follows what sources describe as a slow start with CME Group, FanDuel's first exchange partner. Parent company Flutter Entertainment announced the deal. FanDuel Predicts competes with Kalshi and other regulated prediction market operators in the growing sports and entertainment contracts category.
Crypto.com's OG Prediction Markets gains U.S. retail distribution through FanDuel's sportsbook user base just as rivals consolidate World Cup liquidity. Any migration of FanDuel volume away from CME would signal that crypto-native exchanges can outcompete traditional futures venues on event-contract pricing.
FanDuel Predicts joins the flurry of World Cup-positioning moves by Robinhood, Kalshi, and Rothera's capture of Robinhood World Cup flow in a market where sports event contracts are quickly becoming the primary retail battleground.
