Prospect Markets signs deal with Crypto.com for U.S. event contracts through CDNA
Prospect Markets has executed a definitive agreement with Crypto.com to offer event contracts in the U.S. The contracts will trade through CDNA, a CFTC-registered designated contract market and derivatives clearing organization. OG Prediction Markets is also named as a partner in the arrangement. The partnership targets a U.S. market exceeding $1 trillion in annual trading volume and is timed ahead of the NFL and NBA seasons.
Prospect Markets gains immediate CFTC-regulated market access without years of independent licensing, accelerating its U.S. sports platform launch. The deal mirrors High Roller's white-label path through Crypto.com's infrastructure, a pattern that positions CDNA as the default regulatory shortcut for entrants unwilling to build direct designations. Prospect's U.S. product now depends on Crypto.com's regulatory standing and technology stack. Any CFTC scrutiny or operational issue at Crypto.com would freeze Prospect's market access instantly.
Competitors with direct designations, like Kalshi, retain more control over their own regulatory fate. Prospect's speed-to-market bet carries structural vulnerability that only volume success can justify. Sports season timing adds pressure: the platform must prove reliability before competing venues consolidate retail and institutional flow. A successful debut would validate white-labeling for additional casino and gaming operators eyeing prediction markets. A stumble would reinforce that only fully licensed venues control their own access.
Prospect Markets joins Crypto.com Derivatives North America as the second prediction-market entrant in under a week to route U.S. event contracts through Crypto.com's CFTC-regulated infrastructure, following High Roller's similar white-label arrangement for its ROLR platform.
