Moomoo partners with Kalshi to add CFTC-regulated event contracts

Published Jun 4, 2026Updated 45d ago

Moomoo has partnered with Kalshi to offer CFTC-regulated event contracts to eligible U.S. users through the brokerage's trading app. The integration lets Moomoo's retail clients trade prediction-market products on outcomes including Federal Reserve decisions and elections without needing a separate Kalshi account or leaving the platform. Moomoo, a subsidiary of Chinese-founded Futu Holdings, serves as the distribution layer while Kalshi provides the regulated market infrastructure. The deal gives Kalshi access to Moomoo's 29 million global users. Robinhood, Webull, and Coinbase are also mentioned as competitors offering similar event-trading capabilities to retail investors.

Why this matters?

Kalshi gains Moomoo's 29 million-user retail pipeline just as Robinhood diverts World Cup volume to rival clearing firm Rothera. Any volume Moomoo delivers helps offset the retail flow Kalshi is losing to its largest brokerage partner.
