ProphetX partners with Juice Reel to integrate CFTC-regulated prediction markets
ProphetX has partnered with Juice Reel to bring Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC)-regulated prediction markets to the Juice Reel app and community. ProphetX is described as America's first federally regulated sports-native prediction market. The integration enables Juice Reel users to trade event contracts directly on ProphetX's CFTC-regulated exchange. Both companies announced the partnership on October 14.
ProphetX is carving a white-label path that lets sports media brands offer regulated prediction markets without building their own exchange infrastructure. Juice Reel gains a CFTC-regulated product layer overnight, while ProphetX acquires distribution without spending on consumer acquisition.
This model mirrors how Robinhood leans on partner rails, though Robinhood holds equity stakes in Crypto.com and OG.com rather than pure integration deals. For ProphetX, the test is whether algorithmic traders and professional flow follow, or whether the venue remains a retail wrapper. Juice Reel's community converts at scale, ProphetX becomes a template that other sports apps license rather than compete against.
Joins recent partnership activity by Robinhood with Crypto.com and OG.com, and by CryptoStruct with OG.com, as platforms race to secure regulated exchange access through external relationships rather than direct CFTC licensing.
