Robinhood listed BTC price-range prediction market for Oct 31, 2026
Robinhood Derivatives, LLC offered event contracts on Bitcoin's price range at 10 p.m. EDT on October 31, 2026. The listing resolved the following day. The contracts were available through partner exchanges KalshiEX LLC, ForecastEX, LLC, and Rothera Exchange and Clearing LLC. Robinhood carried the market on its crypto prediction-markets page with a standard disclaimer that live data was for informational purposes only and could be delayed or incorrect.
Robinhood's $173 million Q3 event-contract revenue now depends on partner venues it does not control. It holds no CFTC designated contract market license of its own. Every crypto price-range contract routes through Kalshi, ForecastEX, or the Rothera joint venture. State lawsuits against Kalshi in Ohio and Tennessee could force geofencing or contract redesign with no warning.
The August volume dip already showed retail traders abandon interrupted platforms within days. Competitors with direct CFTC designations can now pitch stability to users who felt that disruption. Bernstein's $1.7 billion 2028 forecast assumes partnership resilience Robinhood cannot guarantee.
Robinhood has now listed at least five tightly spaced crypto event contracts in under seven days — Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Solana, Ethereum, and XRP — each compressing resolution windows and deepening dependence on the same partner rails.
