Robinhood adds Bitcoin price prediction market alongside existing Dogecoin contract
Robinhood has listed a Bitcoin price prediction market for Oct 25, 2026 at 7pm EDT. The contract pays $1 per contract if the prediction is correct and $0 if not. The listing follows a Dogecoin price prediction market that went live Oct 24, 2026 for resolution Oct 25 at 10am EDT. Both contracts use binary payouts. Robinhood's crypto prediction market expansion continues without interruption from its partner-dependent infrastructure model.
Robinhood is now running two concurrent crypto price markets on the same calendar day, with Dogecoin resolving at 10am and Bitcoin at 7pm EDT. This overlapping structure trains traders to cycle between contracts rather than trade and exit. The platform still routes all volume through external partners including Kalshi, with no direct CFTC license as backup.
Kalshi faces active state lawsuits in Ohio and Tennessee that could force contract redesign or geofencing. If state action disrupts that partner rail during overlapping market hours, Robinhood has no internal exchange to absorb the flow. The August volume dip already proved how fast habits break when settlement delays hit. Competitors with direct CFTC designations can now pitch stability to traders who experienced that interruption.
Robinhood now lists four distinct crypto tokens in binary price markets, adding Dogecoin binary market alongside XRP, Bitcoin, and Solana price contracts to its fastest-growing contract category.
