BTA Sports adds AI analytics tool for prediction market pricing

Published Oct 21, 2026Updated 3h ago

BTA Sports is expanding into prediction markets with an AI-powered analytics offering. The product will use the company's modeling framework, trained over three years and updated daily, to help users assess whether market prices align with underlying data. It will be available as part of Version 2.0 in the fourth quarter, according to one announcement. BTA Sports did not disclose pricing or regulatory status. The company framed the move as an extension of its existing sports-data capabilities into the event-contract space.

Why this matters?

BTA Sports enters prediction markets as a data vendor rather than an exchange, a different path than recent launches by Kalshi, Novig, and Markets. Its analytics layer could become infrastructure that existing platforms license instead of building themselves. The three-year trained model and daily updates are claims BTA made itself, so operators will verify performance before subscribing.

If the tool gains adoption, it could concentrate pricing intelligence among platforms with deeper wallets, leaving smaller venues dependent on thin proprietary signals. The missing regulatory and pricing details suggest the offering is early. BTA's success depends on whether licensed exchanges see enough edge in its forecasts to pay for data they cannot generate in-house.

The bigger picture

BTA Sports becomes the latest sports-data firm to seek a role in prediction markets, joining a 2026 roster of entrants that already includes exchange operators like Novig, Markets, and High Roller Technologies and infrastructure plays like Crypto.com's Predict Pro.
