Sportradar expands Polymarket data partnership without disclosing terms
Sportradar Group (SRAD) expanded its partnership with Polymarket to supply premium sports data, streaming, fan engagement tools, and marketing services. The deepening tie-up comes as Polymarket builds out sports-focused event contracts under its CFTC-regulated status. Sportradar separately renewed its partnership with Euroleague. The company did not disclose financial terms for either deal. Analysts are assessing whether SRAD shares remain undervalued.
The deal reinforces Polymarket's content lead over Kalshi in sports event contracts. Sportradar now supplies live data, streaming, and marketing tools that Kalshi cannot match after losing the same race for Bundesliga and Grand Slam tennis rights. Traders who want verified live-event settlement will route to Polymarket first.
Kalshi's weather partnership with The Weather Company defends its fastest-growing vertical but leaves sports exposed. The first quarterly volume split between the two platforms will measure how much data exclusivity actually drives trading flow. Sportradar deepens its position as infrastructure layer across the regulated prediction-market stack.
Complements Polymarket's seven-day-old league expansion to 20-plus sports leagues, doubling down on Sportradar as the data backbone for regulated sports event contracts.
