Robinhood adds 15-minute SOL, HYPE, ETH, and Dogecoin prediction markets in five-day span
Robinhood Derivatives listed a 15-minute Solana price prediction market for the 3:00–3:15 AM EDT window on August 18, 2026. The contract asks whether SOL will be up or down over that interval. Robinhood also added new prediction markets for HYPE, Ethereum, and Dogecoin across August 12–16. All contracts clear through one of three exchange partners: KalshiEX LLC, ForecastEX LLC, or Rothera Exchange and Clearing LLC. Earlier in the week, Robinhood listed 15-minute HYPE and SOL contracts and a standard BTC price market.
Robinhood is now the only retail platform running 15-minute crypto prediction markets at scale. That speed advantage trains its 24 million users to expect near-instant settlement, a habit daily-contract rivals cannot easily match. Kalshi faces the sharpest squeeze: it needs exclusive retail flow to justify its Bitcoin perpetual futures launch and valuation story, yet Robinhood can tilt volume toward its Rothera joint venture at any moment.
The six-token breadth also forces competitors to match both asset coverage and contract frequency or cede the active-trading segment entirely. Each new batch raises the cost of staying dependent on outside exchanges. Analyst pressure on Kalshi's supplier margins intensifies with every listings update.
