Robinhood lists 15-minute and daily SOL price prediction markets, adds BTC contract
Robinhood listed a 15-minute Solana prediction market for the 3:45–4:00 a.m. EDT window on August 12, 2026, with a $75.9525 target price. It also listed a daily SOL market for August 11, 2026, at 11 p.m. EDT, which went live August 10. Both contracts pay $1 if correct and $0 if not. Robinhood Derivatives, LLC clears through one of three exchange partners: KalshiEX LLC, ForecastEX LLC, or Rothera Exchange and Clearing LLC. A separate Bitcoin price market for 1 p.m. EDT on August 12, 2026, carried a $61,300 reference point.
Robinhood is now running parallel time horizons for the same tokens, forcing competitors to match both speed and format depth. The 15-minute SOL contract follows the same structure already deployed for HYPE, XRP, and BNB, so Robinhood has a template it can replicate across any liquid crypto asset. KalshiEX, ForecastEX, and Rothera still split the back-end anonymously, which means Robinhood can shift volume toward its Rothera joint venture without traders noticing.
That integration threat sharpens each time Robinhood launches a new contract. Kalshi faces the most pressure because it needs visible retail flow to support its Bitcoin perpetual futures story and its valuation narrative. Any competitor that cannot offer 15-minute contracts will lose the active-trading segment to Robinhood's 24 million users.
Robinhood has now listed 15-minute intraday crypto prediction markets across four tokens — SOL, XRP, BNB, and HYPE — alongside daily formats, as it builds the most diverse crypto event-contract menu among US brokerages.
