Robinhood lists SOL and XRP price prediction markets for Oct. 4, 2026
Robinhood has listed a Solana (SOL) price prediction market for Oct. 4, 2026, and added a Ripple (XRP) prediction market for the same date. The SOL contract went live Oct. 3. Robinhood Derivatives offers the event contracts through partner exchanges: KalshiEX, ForecastEX, or Rothera Exchange and Clearing. Each contract pays $1 per contract if correct and $0 if not. This follows Robinhood's recent pattern of rolling out short-settlement crypto prediction markets on its retail platform.
Robinhood is conditioning retail traders to expect 15-minute settlement windows on crypto price contracts. No daily-contract competitor can match that frequency. Each new altcoin listing raises the asset-coverage bar that slower rivals must clear. Robinhood routes volume across KalshiEX, ForecastEX, and Rothera Exchange, so it can shift supply instantly if one partner stumbles. That flexibility gives it leverage over supplier terms that single-exchange platforms lack.
Kalshi faces the sharpest squeeze. It needs exclusive retail flow to justify its Bitcoin perpetual futures launch, yet Robinhood can migrate traders elsewhere at any moment. Analyst pressure on Kalshi's margin sustainability intensifies with every listings update. The first platform to prove sticky volume outside NFL seasonality will reshape every prediction-market revenue model.
