Coinbase lists Kalshi French Open tennis markets in predictions vertical

Updated 4d ago

Coinbase Predictions listed three Kalshi-sourced tennis markets for the 2026 French Open between May 24 and May 31. The exchange offered contracts on Baptiste vs. Krejcikova, Davidovich Fokina vs. Dzumhur, and Andreeva vs. Teichmann. Each listing appears in Coinbase's retail predictions vertical, which the company has been building out to integrate event-contract trading into its mainstream interface. The Dzumhur market specifies a bet on whether Damir Dzumhur wins his Round of 128 match. The Baptiste vs. Krejcikova page includes trading rules, timeline and payout details, trading prohibitions, and educational content explaining how prediction markets work.

Why this matters?

Coinbase is now Kalshi's most visible retail distribution partner, giving the CFTC-regulated exchange access to millions of mainstream users without building its own consumer app. Any CFTC or state enforcement action against Kalshi sports contracts would immediately implicate Coinbase's compliance infrastructure and risk appetite for the vertical.
