Sportradar signs multi-year data deal to power Kalshi sports event contracts

Published Jun 8, 2026Updated 48d ago

Sportradar and Kalshi announced a global data and infrastructure partnership on Monday, June 8. Under the multi-year agreement, Sportradar will serve as core data and solutions provider for Kalshi's regulated sports event contracts, supplying official real-time data feeds from MLB, NHL, MLS, and UFC. Sportradar teased the partnership during its first-quarter earnings call before formally announcing the deal. Kalshi said official league data should help support faster trade settlement and a better user experience. Sportradar trades on Nasdaq under ticker SRAD and shares rose following the announcement. The deal marks Sportradar's formal entry into the prediction market vertical after identifying the opportunity for data providers.

Why this matters?

Kalshi's access to verified league data from Sportradar strengthens its regulatory credibility. If institutional desks demand official data for pricing, competitors without comparable feeds will struggle to match ticket size.

The bigger picture

Three top quantitative firms just opened dedicated desks on Kalshi and Polymarket, underscoring how data and liquidity infrastructure are becoming the decisive battlegrounds as prediction-market platforms race to serve institutional-size tickets.
