Robinhood lists Trump tariff, Solana, and esports prediction markets
Robinhood has listed a prediction market on whether President Trump will order tariffs in August 2026. The contract is offered through Robinhood Derivatives, LLC and cleared via one of three partner exchanges: KalshiEX LLC, ForecastEX LLC, or Rothera Exchange and Clearing LLC. The platform also launched a Solana price prediction market for August 2, 2026 at the $72.75 level, and an esports market for a Yakult's Brothers versus REKONIX match the same day.
Robinhood is treating event contracts as a permanent retail product line across politics, crypto, sports, and esports. Each new listing deepens trader habituation and feeds volume to its three clearing partners. The partner exchanges remain anonymous pipes with no pricing power or trader loyalty.
Robinhood can tilt flow toward Rothera Exchange whenever it chooses, and its joint venture there already handles 16% of event-contract flow. KalshiEX suffers most because it needs visible retail volume to justify its Bitcoin perpetual futures launch. The platform that locks alternate distribution before Rothera scales keeps a foothold; those that wait risk becoming back-end plumbing for Robinhood's vertical-integration story.
Robinhood has now listed prediction markets for Bitcoin, XRP, BNB, Nasdaq 100 futures, and Solana within single-digit days, each cleared through KalshiEX, ForecastEX, or Rothera Exchange as the broker builds a comprehensive event-contract menu ahead of Rothera's scaling.
