Robinhood lists four short-term crypto prediction markets on July 1

Published Jul 1, 2026Updated 2h ago

Robinhood Derivatives listed four short-term crypto prediction markets on July 1, 2026 through partner exchanges KalshiEX, ForecastEX, or Rothera. The listings include two Solana contracts — one for 1:30–1:45 PM EDT targeting $77.6677, another for 2:30–2:45 PM EDT at $77.5438 — plus an Ethereum market for 2:00 PM EDT and a 15-minute ETH contract from 5:30–5:45 PM EDT targeting $1,623.47. A fourth HYPE contract was set for 4:00 PM EDT.

Why this matters?

Robinhood is stress-testing whether retail traders will trade 15-minute crypto intervals at volume, and whether its brand can absorb the complexity of routing orders across three competing exchanges. If these contracts draw sustained flow, they pull speculative attention from traditional crypto futures venues and validate sub-hourly event contracts as a standalone trading category. For Kalshi, the risk is acute: Robinhood's multi-exchange model already strips it of exclusivity on retail crypto flow, and any shift toward Rothera or ForecastEX weakens the volume base Kalshi needs for its newly approved Bitcoin perpetual futures. The next two weeks of open-interest data will show whether traders notice which exchange clears their bets, or whether Robinhood's frontend masks the fragmentation entirely.
