Kalshi posts AL and NL award odds on X ahead of season's end

Published Jun 21, 2026 Updated 2d ago

Kalshi Sports posted American League award odds on X on June 21, listing AL MVP probabilities at 50% for Yordan, 23% for Kurtz, and 14% for Rice, and AL Cy Young at 57% for an unnamed favorite. The post had 29 views at time of capture. A day later, Kalshi traders were pricing National League award winners ahead of the season's conclusion, with Shohei Ohtani leading the NL MVP market at 88%, followed by Pete Crow-Armstrong at 5% and Juan Soto at 5%. In the NL Cy Young race, rookie Tobias Misiorowski sits at 55%, with Cristopher Sanchez at 26% and Ohtani at 9%. The dual posts show Kalshi using social media to surface and promote its sports event-contract pricing on individual player awards.

Why this matters?

Award markets are thin, novelty products with no listed open interest or volume, so this is brand marketing rather than a liquidity development that changes execution quality for traders. It does extend Kalshi's social-media content playbook from political markets into sports, but with no institutional desk signal or Robinhood competitive dynamic at stake.
