Kalshi partners with Argentina Football Association for World Cup 2026 data and marketing campaign

Published Jun 10, 2026 Updated 4h ago

Kalshi has struck an official partnership with the Argentine Football Association (AFA) for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The deal, announced June 10, pairs the regulated US prediction market with Argentina's national football governing body to supply official data backed by robust integrity measures. Genius Sports, the sports data and technology provider, brokered the tie-up and will supply what it described as the highest quality official data. Separately, Kalshi launched a World Cup marketing campaign built around soccer legends, framed with the tagline that every country has a legend and every legend has a call to make. Kalshi described itself as the largest prediction market in the world. No contract terms or specific market launch timeline were disclosed.

Why this matters?

The AFA deal gives Kalshi verified official data for Argentina matches, a direct counter to ADI Predictstreet's Chainlink oracle stack and Sportradar-fed competitors. If institutional desks and retail platforms now demand league-certified feeds as a baseline, Kalshi's Genius Sports pipeline becomes a prerequisite rather than an edge.
