Interactive Brokers surfaces event contracts in unified trading dashboard
Interactive Brokers launched Autonomous Trading, a research feature that pulls stock tickers into a single view alongside related companies, sector ETFs, derivatives, thematic data, and event contracts. The brokerage's dashboard now integrates event contracts alongside traditional equity derivatives. Social Life Magazine separately published a 2026 broker guide noting that Robinhood, Interactive Brokers, and Public all offer event contracts, while Schwab does not.
Interactive Brokers has a Registered Investment Advisor channel that sportsbooks and prediction-market apps cannot match: financial advisors who already custody client assets and report on diversified portfolios. Autonomous Trading lets those advisors present event contracts as one component among equities and derivatives, normalizing the product class for investors who would never open a dedicated prediction-market account.
That advisor-mediated path introduces event contracts to taxable retirement accounts and trust structures that pure-play platforms cannot reach. Rivals like Robinhood and Public have opened to event contracts too, but neither owns the advisor relationship that drives recurring allocation decisions. Kalshi and other CFTC-registered exchanges now face a channel choice: build direct-to-advisor integrations or watch Interactive Brokers intermediate their flow and capture the advisory fee layer.
