InFocus enters prediction markets with $2.4M Codexa deal

Published Oct 19, 2026Updated 5h ago

ASX-listed InFocus is entering the prediction markets sector through its Codexa platform. The Australian technology company secured its first customer alongside a conditional US$2.4 million deal. InFocus is positioning to capture growth in the expanding event-contracts space as prediction markets boom globally. The company is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange. Codexa represents InFocus's vehicle for the event-contracts market.

Why this matters?

InFocus arrives as established players are locking in distribution faster than new entrants can build it. Kalshi has already tied up tribal sovereign-immunity channels, retail brokerages through Webull, and institutional pipes via Talos. Polymarket and OG.com sit behind Robinhood's $145 stock and CryptoStruct's algorithmic bridges. For InFocus, the Codexa deal must prove its platform can plug into this stacked infrastructure or carve a niche the incumbents have left open.

The conditional structure of the $2.4 million agreement suggests the first customer is a pilot, not a anchor tenant. Australian ASX listing offers capital-market access that US private platforms lack, but no automatic pathways to CFTC-regulated liquidity. Codexa either becomes a white-label layer for venues needing faster deployment, or it misses the window while competitors consolidate.
