Crypto.com partners with FanDuel on prediction market infrastructure

Crypto.com is partnering with FanDuel to add prediction markets to its platform, CEO Kris Marszalek said. The deal was noted in June 2026.

Why this matters?

FanDuel Predicts now runs on two exchange partners instead of one. That gives it leverage against CME Group that it could not wield before. For Crypto.com, the deal is a foothold in regulated U.S. event contracts without building a consumer brand from scratch. The platform gains volume through FanDuel's installed base of sports bettors.

The test comes fast: FanDuel Predicts must show that dual sourcing produces tighter pricing and deeper liquidity than the CME-only model, or overhead eats the gain. If OG performs, FanDuel Predicts can diversify further and demand better terms from every exchange. If it flops, the platform returns to single-source dependence with weaker bargaining power than when it started. CME faces the sharper risk, a second venue that could become a replacement rather than a supplement.
