agg.market acquires Polynode, a Polymarket data API provider
agg.market acquired Polynode, a data API provider for Polymarket, in a deal announced July 22, 2026. Polynode's endpoints and team remain in place under the new owner. The acquired service is described as among the fastest data APIs for Polymarket. agg.market did not disclose deal terms. The transaction gives agg.market direct control over a key data pipeline serving the largest CFTC-regulated prediction market platform.
Data infrastructure is becoming a standalone prize as prediction markets scale. agg.market now owns a direct feed into Polymarket's order flow, positioning itself as a data vendor rather than a trading venue. That model mirrors what Bloomberg and ICE built in traditional markets: own the pipe, collect rent from every downstream user.
For Polymarket, the risk is concentration: if agg.market controls pricing and latency for its most popular third-party data layer, Polymarket has less leverage to negotiate terms or switch providers. Competitors like Kalshi and Underdog rely on their own data stacks today, but any future pivot to third-party APIs would face a market where agg.market sets the price. The deeper question is whether agg.market keeps Polynode open to all clients or begins exclusive deals that wall off data from rival platforms.
