TradesViz rolls out prediction-market journal with Kalshi auto-import

Published Nov 7, 2026Updated 22h ago

TradesViz has launched a trading journal built specifically for event contracts and prediction markets. The tool tracks calibration, Brier scores, and returns broken out by entry price and market category. Users can now link a Kalshi account via API key to automatically sync fills and settlements. The integration lets traders view prediction market activity alongside other brokerage accounts in one dashboard. Both features went live November 7.

Why this matters?

TradesViz is betting that prediction market traders need analytics infrastructure as much as equity or crypto traders do. The Kalshi API link addresses a real pain point: until now, event contract positions sat in silos, forcing manual tracking or spreadsheet hacks. Automated syncing makes it practical to run portfolio-level risk analysis across asset classes. For Kalshi, third-party tooling like this extends its ecosystem without building proprietary analytics itself.

If TradesViz draws enough volume, competing platforms like Polymarket and ForecastEx face pressure to open similar API access or risk losing active traders to the venue with better tooling support. The Brier score and calibration metrics also nudge prediction markets toward professional discipline, making retail behavior look more like institutional forecasting to regulators watching the space.

The bigger picture

Joins a recent run of infrastructure and product moves by Kalshi across event contracts and adjacent markets, as the platform races to build volume and diversify revenue while state gambling challenges multiply in Ohio, Tennessee, and Utah.
