Kalshi signs exclusive streaming deal with Catalist Sports for tennis and soccer data
Kalshi announced a multi-year partnership with live-streaming supplier Catalist Sports on Tuesday, September 8. The deal gives Kalshi exclusive US prediction market access to Catalist's low-latency data and streams across thousands of tennis matches and other events. It marks Kalshi's first streaming arrangement and upgrades multiple sports offerings, including tennis and soccer markets. Kalshi becomes the only prediction market with this data access, according to the parties.
Kalshi needed a live-streaming answer to Polymarket's Sportradar deal across 20-plus leagues, and Catalist Sports is that response. The exclusivity matters because Polymarket's Bundesliga and Grand Slam tennis feeds have been pulling traders who want streaming-verified event contracts. Kalshi's The Weather Company partnership defends weather, but weather is not sports. Now tennis and soccer markets get the low-latency data that institutions and retail alike use to trust settlement integrity.
The catch: three tennis tournaments were already in talks with prediction market platforms, and Catalist's coverage must prove deep enough to keep Kalshi competitive on hard-court events beyond the US Open. If the streams lag or the match catalog is thin, traders still route to Polymarket for Grand Slam liquidity. Kalshi's first quarterly sports volume after launch will show whether one streaming partner can close a gap that Sportradar is widening across two dozen leagues.
