Last week’s Netflix additions were strong and shook up the Top 10 Netflix charts. The Judy Blume series, Forever, made it to No. 2 on the TV series list, and Vince Vaughn-led Nonnas made it to the top of the movies list. This week has a new set of additions, and now you can trade on what will be this week’s top 10 movies and TV shows at top prediction market platforms.
Before making your predictions on this week’s top Netflix movie and TV show, let’s dive into what you need to know.
What happened last week in TV (Top 10 shows)

- Forever (Season 1)
- Raw: 2025 – May 5, 2025
- You (Season 5)
- Ms. Rachel (Season 1)
- The Eternaut (Season 1)

- Unseen (Season 1)
Top US Netflix TV show this week?
The Four Seasons has impressively kept its No. 1 spot for the second week in a row on the Netflix TV shows chart, and You has also maintained its spot in the top five.
The new Forever rom-com series was able to reach the runner-up position, but wasn’t able to usurp The Four Seasons. However, Forever is likely to stay close to the top of the charts and put up a strong fight. Next week’s projects most likely to pose a challenge are Love, Death & Robots, American Manhunt: Osama bin Laden, Bad Thoughts, and All American.
Love, Death & Robots (Volume 4)
- Release Date: Thursday, May 15, 2025
- Runtime: 10 episodes — the episodes range from 6–21 minutes each
Love, Death & Robots is a Netflix adult animated anthology series in its fourth season. The series has been praised for its unique stories and animation styles and has won several Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards. However, its niche audience may make it difficult to overcome more broadly appealing series like The Four Seasons or Forever.
American Manhunt: Osama bin Laden (2025)
- Release Date: Wednesday, May 14, 2025
- Runtime: 3 episodes – N/A runtime
American Manhunt: Osama bin Laden is one of the latest three-part docu-series produced by Netflix. With such a prominent and notorious figure like bin Laden, this series could capture American viewers and catapult it to the top of the rankings. Moreover, its 3 episode run puts it at an advantage against other series like The Four Seasons and Forever.
Bad Thoughts (Season 1)
- Release Date: Tuesday, May 13, 2025
- Runtime: 6 episodes — about 17–22 minutes each
Created by stand-up comedian Tom Segura, Bad Thoughts contains six dark comedy short stories that depict twisted but hilarious stories. Segura has made comedy specials for Netflix in the past, and they have reached the Top 10 rankings. If fans of comedies and Segura latch onto the series, it may perform well thanks to a shorter runtime than The Four Seasons and Forever.
All American (Season 7)
- Release Date: Tuesday, May 13, 2025
- Runtime: 13 episodes — about 45 minutes each
All American may be a CW show, but it is a smash on Netflix. The series has consistently reached the Top 10 charts when added to Netflix, and is one of the most popular non-original series on the streaming platform. However, its 13-episode run can make it difficult to rank higher compared to the shorter runtime of its competitors.
Fred and Rose West: A British Horror Story
Release Date: Wednesday, May 14, 2025
Runtime: 3 episodes – N/A runtime
Following the story of one of the most infamous serial killers in U.K. history, Fred and Rose West: A British Horror Story is a frightening documentary series about the murders they committed. However, given that this is about a couple from the U.K., it may be less known to American audiences, although this is definitely a type of series that has performed well in the U.S. in the past.
What happened last week in movies (Top 10 movies)
- Nonnas
- Exterritorial
- A Deadly American
- Marriage
- Twilight
- Home
- Beetlejuice Beetlejuice
- The Twilight Saga: New Moon
- Heart Eyes
- Sniper: The Last Stand
- Last Bullet
Top US Netflix movie this week?
Vince Vaughn’s family comedy Nonnas has taken down the impressive Exterritorial, which had a strong run in its first week. But this week, new additions can challenge both of these movies for the top position.
Smile (2022)
Release Date: Wednesday, May 14, 2025
Runtime: 115 minutes
Smile is a horror film from 2022, which was a box office success of over $200 million on a budget of only $17 million. The film spawned a sequel and a third film already in development. Given it’s not Halloween, it may be difficult to rank high in the rankings, but with low competition and the right audience, it can rise in the ranks.
Paddington in Peru (2024)
- Release Date: Thursday, May 15, 2025
- Runtime: 106 minutes
Paddington in Peru is the third film in the live-action Paddington series. It came out earlier this year in the United States, and children’s movies are very popular on Netflix. The film’s freshness and demographic are two potentially strong attributes of its chart performance.
Untold: The Liver King (2025)
Release Date: Tuesday, May 13, 2025
Runtime: 68 minutes
Untold: The Liver King is part of the Untold Netflix sports documentary series. Many of these films have been released since 2021. Last week, Untold: Shooting Guards was released, but it didn’t make the Top 10, which may make it harder for this one to do well, too.
