Outpoll adds crypto futures alongside prediction markets in one-account push
Outpoll is expanding its platform to offer crypto futures trading alongside its existing prediction markets. Users will access both asset classes through a single account with a shared balance and unified application. The company announced the move on October 15, 2026, framing it as a bridge between event contracts that show expectations and derivatives that let users act on price moves. Most current platforms offer only one or the other, according to Outpoll.
Outpoll's unified account removes a friction point that currently splits traders across separate platforms. That structural bet competes directly with the partner-dependent models that Robinhood and others rely on, where prediction-market volume routes through outside infrastructure. If traders prefer a single balance for event contracts and crypto futures, venues without both products must either build or acquire the missing piece.
Outpoll also sidesteps the regulatory reclassification risk that partner-reliant platforms face, since any forced restructuring would hit the white-label backend first. The real test is whether prediction-market users actually want crypto exposure, or if the two trader profiles stay separate and the unified application sits half-empty. Crypto.com's parallel push toward owned prediction-market infrastructure suggests the industry is converging on full-stack offerings rather than niche specialization.
