Optimove partners with Plaee to bring prediction markets to global operator network
Optimove has partnered with Plaee to offer its global operator network a turnkey path to launch branded prediction market offerings. Plaee's prediction markets are backed by Crypto.com. The partnership was announced Thursday. The deal comes as new CFTC relief eases a key regulatory hurdle for the expansion. Optimove's existing customer base of gaming and betting operators gains full-lifecycle prediction market deployment.
Optimove's operator clients can now add prediction markets without building their own compliance stacks. That lowers the barrier for dozens of sportsbook and iCasino brands to launch competing products fast. Plaee gains distribution scale it cannot match alone. The CFTC's eased third-party integration rules compress the timeline further, letting operators move before the NFL season peaks.
Crypto.com's backing supplies the regulated infrastructure, but Optimove clients remain dependent on that single pipeline. If the CFTC tightens oversight of American-style moneyline odds or Crypto.com faces commercial disputes, every white-label operator must migrate or halt. The first Optimove client to convert existing bettors to event contracts will set the template rivals copy, and the revenue split between Optimove, Plaee, and Crypto.com will determine whether the model spreads or stalls.
Optimove joins Robinhood in tapping Crypto.com-linked prediction market infrastructure, extending the exchange's regulatory reach beyond the equity stakes Robinhood just took.
