Kalshi Sports posts NFL Super Bowl probability snapshot on X
Kalshi Sports posted updated Super Bowl odds on X on October 1. The figures showed the Bills at 22%, Rams at 18%, and 49ers at 17%. The post frames the data as current market-implied chances via Kalshi. On October 5, Kalshi was offering Super Bowl 61 futures with the Rams and Bills as co-favorites.
These posts are marketing snapshots, not tradable surfaces. The percentages mirror widely available sportsbook odds, so price-sensitive traders have no edge to chase. Kalshi must convert September curiosity into sustained weekly flow before novelty fades. Needham data already shows its single-game pricing edge compressed by NFL Week 3. FanDuel's market-making partnership has not restored it.
Traders comparing fills across venues will route size to Polymarket's deeper pools or Novig's tighter markets. Each thin post erodes trust with serious users who need order-book depth to absorb real size. The platform that first cracks reliable depth across multiple game windows will capture the repetitive weekly volume that makes football season economics work. Kalshi is not there yet.
