Separately, Kalshi Sports published a broader forecast projecting championship totals for major US cities across the Big-4 leagues through 2030, with New York projected at 2.5 titles and Los Angeles at 2.3. The season board sorts teams heading into Week 1.
Kalshi's NFL win-total board turns raw prediction-market prices into a consumer-facing content product, but the thin liquidity that dogs its regular-season markets puts both outputs at risk. The same ladder data that feeds these projections also feeds the divergent board prices that already appeared on Eagles-Week 1 lines. If two boards on the same game clear at different levels, a win total derived from those ladders is itself suspect, a snapshot of noise rather than signal.
Traders who spot the inconsistency will treat Kalshi's sports content as marketing gloss, not tradable insight. The platform needs convergent pricing before kickoff, or its sports-content strategy becomes a liability that drives users toward Novig's deeper pools. The US Open exclusivity bought Kalshi credibility in tennis; NFL win totals offer no such shield.
