Kazakhstan's ITS launches Bitcoin, SpaceX, and rate prediction markets

Published Sep 8, 2026Updated 5h ago

Kazakhstan-based trading platform ITS has launched Prediction Market, a new product line offering event contracts tied to Bitcoin, SpaceX, and central bank interest rates. The platform targets international investors and appears to use a binary settlement structure where contracts expire worthless if the predicted outcome does not occur. Investor protection concerns accompany the launch, given the all-or-nothing payout design. ITS is positioning itself as a new entrant in the global prediction markets space from a Central Asian base.

Why this matters?

ITS enters a field crowded with faster and deeper-pocketed rivals. Robinhood already runs crypto prediction markets at 15-minute and daily frequencies across six tokens, conditioning retail traders to expect near-instant settlement. Kalshi and Polymarket hold direct CFTC designations that let them market regulated status to institutional clients. ITS offers none of these differentiators: no U.S. license, no established clearing network, and no high-frequency product layer.

Its Kazakhstan base may attract traders seeking offshore access, but that same jurisdiction raises counterparty-risk questions Western platforms do not face. The binary zero-or-payout structure amplifies retail hazard if ITS lacks robust identity verification or loss-disclosure standards. Traders comparing platforms will weigh regulatory seat and speed before geography. Without a clear edge in either, ITS risks being priced out of attention before it builds volume.
