High Roller Technologies hires prediction markets veteran Flip Pidot as chief business officer
High Roller Technologies has hired Flip Pidot as chief business officer to lead business development and strategic partnerships for ROLR, the company's prediction markets business. Pidot will report to the chief executive. He previously served as a PredictIt executive and founded American Civics Exchange. High Roller outlined a scenario for $1 billion in annual revenue by 2030 ahead of its US prediction market launch.
Prediction market operators are racing to build fully staffed leadership benches before their launches, not after. High Roller's US debut is still pending, yet it is already paying executive salaries and projecting $1 billion in annual revenue by 2030. That projection only holds if Pidot can land the regulatory and partnership infrastructure that took Kalshi and Polymarket years to assemble.
Pidot's PredictIt experience gives him familiarity with CFTC-adjacent mechanics, but PredictIt operated under a no-action letter, not a full designated contract market license. The gap between that credential and what ROLR needs is the difference between a political trivia site and a venue that clears regulated derivatives. High Roller's investors will measure his first year by whether ROLR secures its own CFTC pathway or becomes another platform renting Kalshi's rails.
Pidot joins a talent migration that has already brought Goldman Sachs veteran Lisa Mantil to Polymarket's institutional growth team and sports marketing capital to Novig via its Sydney Sweeney equity deal.
