FanDuel Predicts launches with CME Group as exchange venue in 18 states
FanDuel Predicts, a prediction market platform with a sportsbook-style interface, launched in December 2025. CME Group serves as the exchange venue behind the product. The platform is live in 18 states. FanDuel Predicts operates alongside FanDuel's existing liquidity partnership with Kalshi, giving the sportsbook giant a dual-track presence in regulated prediction markets. The product offers baseball and other sports event contracts.
FanDuel Predicts gives the sportsbook a direct channel to keep price-sensitive traders inside its own ecosystem rather than leaking them to Kalshi's interface. CME Group's infrastructure lends institutional credibility that other prediction-market venues lack.
FanDuel already holds a market-making partnership with Kalshi, so the two-track play lets FanDuel learn the flow before siphoning it. DraftKings' DKeX collapsed to 3% NFL share after losing pricing edge by Week 3. The platform with superior combo pricing by mid-season could flip volume numbers. FanDuel's strategy now looks like the most credible threat to Kalshi's lead.
FanDuel Predicts joins Kalshi, Polymarket, and DraftKings in the CFTC-registered prediction-market platform race, with each operator now running a distinct liquidity and marketing strategy.
