Aries taps ForecastEx to bring election event contracts to mobile

Published Oct 30, 2026

Aries has launched prediction markets inside its Aries Mobile app, giving eligible users access to event contracts on the 2026 U.S. midterm elections through ForecastEx. Aries Futures LLC is the operating entity behind the product. The contracts are listed and traded on the CFTC-regulated exchange. Contracts on economic data and financial markets are also available. The integration was announced October 30, 2026. It brings event-contract trading to Aries' mobile-native platform.

Why this matters?

Aries is betting that mobile-native retail traders want election and macro exposure without leaving their brokerage app. That puts it in direct competition with Robinhood and Webull, both of which have built Kalshi-linked event-contract pipes to hold users inside their ecosystems. Aries lacks their user-base scale, so its edge depends on product breadth and execution quality on the smallest screen. ForecastEx gains distribution without building consumer marketing; Aries gains regulated product without exchange infrastructure.

The 2026 midterms give both parties a volume window to prove retention before the election cycle ends. If mobile event contracts prove sticky, Kalshi and Robinhood will face pressure to deepen their own in-app experience rather than treat prediction markets as a side feature. A second mobile brokerage adding ForecastEx before year-end would confirm that white-label exchange integrations are becoming table stakes for retail fintech.
