On Thursday, Attorney General Pam Bondi released a set of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, the billionaire arrested for sex trafficking of minors in 2019. Previous lawsuits against Epstein’s client list and flight logs, including alleged crimes committed by Prince Andrew, Alan Dershowitz, and Glenn Dubin. All three men have denied the allegations against them.

CFTC-regulated prediction market platform Kalshi offered a market on whether Trump would declassify new Epstein files in his first 100 days. The documents Bondi released on Thursday contained information that had already leaked to the public, failing to resolve the market.

Kalshi’s rules state that “[if] the Trump Administration releases any previously unreleased documents from prior to the Administration discussing Jeffrey Epstein’s associates/connections before May 1, 2025.” Kalshi’s odds peaked at 97% on Thursday morning before bottoming out at 77%. The odds returned to 82% on Thursday evening.

After they received the newly released files, conservative influencers expressed disappointment with the lack of new information. Liz Wheeler noted in an X live stream that there was no new information in the files. Rep. Anna Luna (R-FL) wrote that the Trump administration should “get us the information we asked for.”

New releases could reveal new names

People following the Epstein case were hoping for a detailed client list of celebrities and wealthy figures who used their connections with Epstein to prey on underage girls. As a philanthropist, many wealthy people have done business with Epstein and are listed on flight logs to his island, including Bill Clinton and Donald Trump.

Crypto prediction market platform Polymarket offers odds on which people will be named in “previously classified, sealed or unreleased files” related to Epstein’s crimes by June 30. It’s only a mention market, so the people listed don’t have to be connected to a crime.

Another round of Epstein files is expected as Bondi works through the files the FBI forwarded to her office. The promise of additional disclosures is keeping Polymarket’s Epstein file mention market and Kalshi’s declassified Epstein files markets alive.
