Another weekend is here, and so too are new movies and tv shows on Netflix.
Once again, prediction market traders are speculating on what will be the week’s top movie and film.
Here’s what they expect to be popping over the next few days—and whether you should tune in.
Black Mirror: Season 7

The screens are back to haunt us. Black Mirror returns with a fresh batch of near-future nightmares, twisted tech, and existential dread—just in time to make you reconsider every app on your phone and second-guess ever locking in another subscription (oh, how ironic). Expect at least one episode that’ll ruin your day… (Rotten Tomatoes score: 89%).

Bad Influence: The Dark Side of Kidfluencing

This dystopia isn’t fictional. The newly released documentary dives deep into the billion-dollar world of kidfluencers and the ethically murky world of parents cashing in on their children’s digital fame. Parents, be careful what you wish for.

Kill Tony: Kill or Be Killed

The internet’s most chaotic comedy show gets a full-on special…but maybe to its detriment. I haven’t watched it yet myself, but it Kill Tony fans are not happy with the Netflix edition of their favorite show. “Huge kill Tony fan and I know we get sh*t episodes here n there but truly this one was probably the worst one to put on Netflix” — there’s about 20 of these tweets for every 1 that says the special was a success (Rotten Tomatoes score: 55%).

MINTED: The Rise (And Fall?) Of The NFT

A wild ride through the NFT boom, bust, and meme-ification of everything. Packed with slick graphics, cringe-inducing influencers, and just enough self-awareness to make it entertaining even if you think crypto is a cult. Yes, Beeple shows up. Also, I regretfully still have some NBA Top Shots so I’m definitely tuning in for my roast.

The Addams Family

Whether you’re rewatching or introducing it to a younger generation, this spooky staple still slaps. It’s also provides some excellent comic relief in between Black Mirror episodes, because lord knows it’s not healthy to watch more than two of those at a time. (Rotten Tomatoes score: 67%)

One of Them Days

One of Them Days did not claim the top of the chart last week, but it has plenty of moment to take the throne in its second week on Netflix. SZA and Keke Palmer star in this anxiety-laced comedy that follows one woman’s spiraling series of misfortunes. (Rotten Tomatoes score: 94%)
