Walmart’s long been a go-to for budget-conscious shoppers, but even they can’t dodge the financial squeeze forever.

“We will do our best to keep our prices as low as possible. But given the magnitude of the tariffs, even at the reduced levels announced this week, we aren’t able to absorb all the pressure given the reality of narrow retail margins,” Walmart CEO Douglas McMillon told stakeholders last week during the company’s quarterly earnings call.

With new import tariffs and rising manufacturing costs, prices are set to climb, despite Trump telling the retail giant to “eat the tariffs.” In fact, prediction markets forecast at least 2.7% inflation in June.

If you want to avoid the coming sticker shock, here’s what you should consider grabbing now.
