Tariffs continue to be a hot topic in our lives.

In case you weren’t aware, tariffs are basically taxes slapped on stuff we import from other countries. The government charges them at the border, usually to make foreign goods more expensive and give U.S. companies a leg up.

Politicians love to say it’s about fairness or protecting American jobs, but in reality? It’s often a game of economic chicken — and we’re the ones stuck with the bill at the store. Most recently, President Donald Trump said he will delay whopping 50% tariffs on the European Union until July 9.

That doesn’t mean he’s necessarily canceling them, however.

In fact, prediction markets like Kalshi and Polymarket forecast inflation to get up to 4% by the end of the year.

Here are 10 items from Target you might want to stock up on before (and if) those tariffs take effect.

French nonstick that actually lives up to the name. Affordable now — maybe not so much if tariffs kick in.

Villeroy & Boch Products

Fine European dishware that turns dinner into a flex. French-German elegance — stock up unless you’re cool eating off paper plates.

Le Creuset Dutch Oven

Heavy and worth every ounce. This French beast slow-cooks like a dream and might get slapped with a price hike soon.

Dyson Vacuums

British tech at its best. These things suck in all the right ways — and they won’t be this cheap for long.

Bosch Tools

German tools that don’t mess around. DIYers, grab ‘em now or get ready to pay up later.

Wine

Europe sends us over $5 billion worth of wine. That bottle of Italian red or French white? Might wanna grab a few before they turn into luxury goods.

Pharmaceuticals

This one’s huge. We import $127 billion in meds from Europe. A 50% tariff could make everything from insulin to antibiotics a whole lot uglier.
