The Four Seasons and You may also continue to be close to the top in next week’s chart. For the week of May 5, several projects may provide some competition: the third season of Blood of Zeus, Forever, and the second season of NASCAR: Full Speed.
Blood of Zeus (Season 3)

- Runtime: 8 episodes — about 25-35 minutes each
Blood of Zeus is a Netflix adult animated fantasy series. The first season premiered in 2020, and the second season premiered about a year ago. This will be the third and final season.
The second season performed well and reached the eighth spot on the Top 10. However, the series’ niche audience may make getting the No. 1 spot difficult.
Forever
- Release Date: Thursday, May 8, 2025
- Runtime: 12 episodes — about 60 minutes
Inspired by Judy Blume’s popular book, Forever, the rom-com/dramedy is a coming-of-age story. Blume is also an executive producer, and actress Regina King will executive produce the series and direct the first episode.
If this series captures the audiences that love the To All The Boys film series or the My Life with the Walter Boys series, it could catapult to the top of the charts. However, Netflix would have to market Forever in a way that reaches the right demographic.
NASCAR: Full Speed
- Release Date: Wednesday, May 7, 2025
- Runtime: 5 episodes — about 45 minutes each
NASCAR: Full Speed is returning for its second season, a year after its first season premiered. The freshman season reached the top 10 U.S. charts but not the No. 1 spot. However, NASCAR: Full Speed may have a chance given the rise in popularity of Formula 1 racing and a less competitive week for TV shows.

Last Bullet (also known as Lost Bullet 3) is the last film in the trilogy. The final chapter in the French crime-action-thriller film is widely loved but underrated. The previous films topped the international charts on Netflix, but not in the United States. Given the lack of exposure in the U.S., it may be difficult for Last Bullet to overcome other action films like Exterritorial or Havoc.
Nonnas (2025)

After several years of no movie projects, Vince Vaughn returns to films with Nonnas. The film is based on the true story of Jody Scaravella, the owner of a Staten Island restaurant. At this restaurant, grandmothers are invited to work as chefs. This feel-good movie may rise in the ranks but could struggle against other big hitters.
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (2024)

After premiering in theaters on Sept. 6, 2024, Netflix is acquiring the streaming rights for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. The combination of nostalgia for older viewers, the popularity of young actress Jenna Ortega, and its recent release positions this film as a strong contender for success on Netflix.
A Deadly American Marriage (2025)

This is Netflix’s latest true-crime documentary following the tragic love story of Jason Corbett and Molly Martens. A Deadly American Marriage looks deeper at the story and what happened the night of the crime. These kinds of documentaries are hit or miss on Netflix.
Sniper: The Last Stand (2025)

Runtime: 99 minutes
After having a digital release in January 2025, the eleventh film in the Sniper series is arriving on Netflix. For the last week of 2023, Sniper: Ultimate Kill was on Netflix’s Top 10 at No. 3, and Sniper: Assassins End was at No. 4. These films have performed well in the past but may not perform as well when they are competing with big names like Hardy’s Havoc.
Heart Eyes (2024)

Heart Eyes is a rom-com slasher horror movie released for Valentine’s Day 2025. It was Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes and praised for being a good rom-com and slasher film. The film is fairly new and features two well-known young actors, Olivia Holt and Mason Gooding. Both of these aspects may prove helpful for the movie’s performance on the charts.
